SUPERNATURAL AND MIRACULOUS
The Fruit of the (Holy) Spirit is the supernatural and miraculous life and productivity of God working in people who have faced the fact that in ourselves alone, there is no good thing. In fact, as un-redeemed people, we are the breeding ground of every evil thought, word and deed, and even the righteousness which springs from us is as filthy rags. It is only as we confess our sins and our need for Christ, and as we trust God for His beneficent grace and mercy, and receive from Him His blood bought salvation that we even have life, that we have any possibility of living in a way that is pleasing to God and that we will contribute any eternal blessing to the world around us.
It is not me, but Christ that lives in me.
Galatians 2:20
(20) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
