SELDOM SEEN B/C SELDOM ASSEMBLED

SELDOM IS THIS SEEN, BECAUSE SELDOM IS SUCH A WORKFORCE ASSEMBLED.

JESUS SAID HE WOULD BUILD HIS CHURCH, AND THE GATES OF HELL WOULD NOT PREVAIL AGAINST IT.

Consider this analogy. (I am not claiming every statement is a Biblical revelation, but I believe it reflects the Biblical model).

* Jesus's Church is both Universal and Local. He is building the Universal Church by building Local Churches.

* "Father and Son" is The Owner, Architect and Developer.

* Holy Spirit is The General Contractor (responsible for the entire project and directing the Pastor).

* The Pastor is the Project Manager (responsible for the various phases and facets of the on site activities and workers).

* Individual Christians are the Sub-Contractors, Craftsmen, and Laborers.

The Project Manager is not only trained and entrusted with the written plans for the construction program, but he is in constant communication with The General Contractor and is answerable to The Owner/Developer. The PM is thoroughly familiar with the PROJECT and he has been engaged, that is he has been...

called
equipped
trained
gifted
empowered and
authorized
to MANAGE the entire endeavor.

The PM is not free to redesign or reinvent the project. The job of the PM is to stay with the approved plans. He manages the resources available and leads the people in producing the final result, according to the desires of the Owner/Developer and in submission to the General Contractor.

Other Positions
The Sub-Contractor's job is to follow the directives of the PM,
The Craftsmen are to follow the directives of the Sub-Contractors and
The Laborers are to follow the directives of the Craftsmen.

Neither Sub-Contractors, Craftsmen nor Laborers are free to change the Divine plans, nor should they work against the PM or undermine the unified effort of the PM and the other workers in the project.

When such order is followed, there will be miraculous success in the individual lives, the family lives and the ministry life of the local church.

The PM is given the responsibility
To oversee, train and equip the work force in the local church.
To lead the work force in building a spiritual and miraculous body of believers, according to God's revealed plans.
To coordinate and develop the lives of individual and families in the local church, in order for them to work together in love and unity, with one common goal.

God wants us individually, and our family, and our ministry and our local church to fulfill His will. To thwart or resist His plan in any area is spiritual rebellion and sabotage. It is contrary to self orientation to be a co-laborer with Christ, because the way of Christ is self denial. However, this is exactly how He builds His Church.
