FOLLOWING POLITICAL PIED PIPERS

FOLLOWING POLITICAL PIED PIPERS IN THE LAST DAYS WAS FORETOLD IN THE HOLY BIBLE.
The best way to NOT SPREAD A FALSE NARRATIVE is to tell the truth, or tell nothing at all.

* This is why I like to spread the message of the Holy Bible. Though there are people who say that the Bible is hard to understand (even its basic message and teachings), it is not hard to understand if it is actually read and studied. Most of the confusion comes when we listen to, or read from people who have a personal agenda contrary to the Holy Bible or they are spouting a doctrine of devils, or of men rather than the clear word of God.

* This is also why my reports on other people are based on what they actually have said and done, about which they usually have boasted. Political bantering is usually biased, and depending on the media, of any stripe, is dangerous. Arriving at the truth takes more than believing blurbs and sound bites or aligning with a favorite champion.

* Don't be philosophically married to any political machinery or platform, or even to any person. Only the God of the Bible deserves your allegiance.

NOW, here is another problem. People actually do espouse agendas, machines, parties, platforms, philosophies that refuse to be evaluated by, and accountable to the teachings of the Holy Bible. When this is the case, then truth and justice are not the determining factor in propagating the message. It will not matter what the facts are. "A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still."

This is the reason people will move further and further from the truth as we are approaching the last days. They will resist and reject the eternal and authoritative word of God, and will instead succumb to the deceitfulness of men and devils.

CONSIDER THESE PASSAGES (spend some time meditating; seeking God)...
2 Timothy 3:1-9
(1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
(2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
(3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
(4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
(5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
(6) For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
(7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
(8) Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
(9) But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

2 Timothy 4:2-4
(2) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
(3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
(4) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

1 Timothy 4:1-8
(1) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
(2) Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
(3) Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
(4) For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
(5) For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
(6) If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
(7) But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
(8) For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

2 Peter 3:3-12
(3) Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
(4) And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
(5) For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
(6) Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
(7) But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
(8) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
(9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
(10) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
(11) Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
(12) Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

THOUGHTS CONCERNING THESE PASSAGES...
* 2 Timothy 3:1-5
Though we (personally or legally) may not require a person to pass a religious test in order to hold public office, we OUGHT TO EXPECT THEM TO MEET MORAL AND CHARACTER STANDARDS. Now, reread 2 Timothy 3:1-5 with today's Presidential candidates in mind. WOW.

* 2 Timothy 4:2-4
The widespread rejection of the truth today is what spurs me on to CRY ALOUD AND SPARE NOT, as seen in the 2 Timothy 4:2-4 passage above.

* 1 Timothy 4:1-8
I was talking to a Roman Catholic one day and mentioned that the Bible says it is a doctrine of demons to forbid marriage, which is what the Roman religion does. He was not familiar with vss. 1-3.

Also, as I hear people push their Old Testament dietary laws and vegan diets, I remember that this passage vss. 1-5 contradicts today's viewpoints.

When I hear people refer to Christians as being legalistic, when they live a holy life, I remember vss. 7-8.

* 2 Peter 3:3-12
People today scoff at the idea of Christ returning, but this passage reiterates the veracity of God's promise, vss. 1-4. History confirms God's faithfulness to fulfill His word, vss. 4-6. God gives more insight in vss 7-12.
