Be Careful, Be Discerning

Be Careful, Be Discerning
Donald Trump is the greatest negotiator on the face of the planet, maybe in the history of the world. If you don't think so, ask him.

When he was asked by Frank Luntz if he ever asked God for forgiveness for any of his actions, he said he did not see a reason to bring God into the picture.

BUT here is a nagging question. If he is so smart, if he is such a great deal maker, WHY would he choose to not "bring God into" the discussion of his sins by asking for forgiveness?

Because he does not believe the Bible.
Because he thinks he does not need God.
Because he thinks that he can deal his way out of sin.
Because he does not know when he has lost and is losing.
Because he does not understand the value of his soul.
Because he does not repect authority (God).
Because he does not believe he is bankrupt spiritually.
Because he does not realize that God is already in the "picture.""

So, whatever else Trump may be, he is not as smart or as wise as he thinks he is, or others think that he is. In fact, he is a fool because he deals with life strictly on the temporal level. We don't need another President who sets himself above God and His word.

The following passage was spoken by Christ to His followers (therfore, take heed), but there are also principles which apply to this national election, the office of the President, and to Donald Trump. Just be wise.

Luke 12:16-26
16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
