BE DISCERNING
Just remember, not everything that is called racism, is racism. This is not to say that there is no racism, nor to say that racism is not present in many situations. However, not everything that is called racism, is racism, nor is everyone who is accused of racism guilty of racism. Be careful not to use heavy words lightly, and do not be prejudiced against someone because of a false accusation that someone may have raised against them.
It is not unusual to see people play the "race card" when they want an easy win in an argument. After all, if a person resists a race card it must be, "because they are racists." If a person is tagged as a racist then that person loses credibility and respect with some people, regardless of how false the accusation is. It is much like putting a red "R" on someone's chest.
BE KIND
It is un-wise and unloving to align people with Nazi's, or Klanners, or abortionists, just because they have a different viewpoint concerning certain political or social issues. Don't allow someone's false accusations to herd you into political correctness and don't allow yourself to become bitter or embroiled in cultural or social sideshows. It is not absolute perfection when the body of Christ disagrees on some issues, but it is perfect love to accept one another, with kindness, even if they do disagree with you. In fact, we should show at least as much grace to brothers and sisters as we do to the unsaved.

BE ACCURATE
Disagreement can become division, and division can become sharp contention, and very seldom is sharp contention healed. We are called to contend for, "the faith, which was once for all delivered to the saints." Just be sure that you are not willing to sacrifice or cannibalize someone for a difference of opinion.
BE LOVING
1 Corinthians 13:1-8
(1) Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
(2) And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
(3) And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
(4) Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
(5) Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
(6) Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
(7) Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
(8) Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
