NOT POPULAR, BUT ACCURATE

NOT POPULAR, BUT ACCURATE
The problem in the Charleston shooting was not a lack of guns in the church. Like it or not, Christians are not called to violence, not even allowed to be violent, even when it comes to self defense. This false doctrine of Christians killing other people is related to Catholicism, and Reformed churchman-ship, and modernized/westernized misrepresentation of Christianity; it has nothing to do with Biblical Christianity or Christianity of the first couple of centuries.

BEARING ARMS
The State has the right and responsibility to bear the sword (weapons) in order to protect the righteous and punish the wicked, including all enemies, domestic and foreign. I also realize that might include the right of a responsible citizenry to bear arms. So, even though I believe in Biblical non-violence, I am not a pacifist.

The answer to the problem in a church shooting really lies with the Individual, the State and a Failed Religious Community at large.

INDIVIDUALS
No matter what the environment, individuals have the power to do evil. Remember Adam, Eve and Cain, for instance. Individuals make up their own mind, since God has given us the power of free will and He enables right choices.

THE STATE
The State has the responsibility to protect and punish (but it will not do its job like it should).

This means the State should enforce laws that restrict violent people and criminals.
This means that the State puts a wall between violent people and the citizenry.

This means that the State protects and promotes the right of Biblical, Christian faith to be taught and propagated, and the State should not be involved in any programs that oppress or obstruct the free practice of Christianity in America. This is what the country was based upon and this is what the country has been turning against in the last several decades.

I am not calling for State religion. I am calling for the original principles that protected CHRISTIANITY in America. The First Amendment was not intended to protect Mormonism, or Islam, or any religion that conflicts with the moral standards of the Christian Bible. Remember, our laws are based upon the Judeo/Christian moral law.

The State should not be promoting Secular Humanism or any other anti-Christian philosophy in the Public Schools or the State supported colleges.

I am sorry if you do not know enough about American history and religion to agree with me.

FAILED RELIGIOUS COMMUNITY
When religious groups, which call themselves Christian, turned from Biblical truth and accommodated pagan beliefs, they hid the light that God gave them. When they hid the light, they spread the darkness that is now covering the land. When they withheld the pure word of God, they condemned society to remain shackled under Satan's rule. Christians need to be Biblical, no matter what sinners do. In fact, sinners do what their father wants them to do, but those who call themselves Christians often argue that they cannot do what their Father wants them to do. (Guess where that lie came from).

Churches hiding the truth closed down the message and the offer and the experience of salvation to our society at large. It allowed for bigotry, hatred, violence, oppression, persecution, and the rejection of the Bible and Christ in the public schools, the public arena and the public servants in government positions. The hiding of truth gave a freer rein to those who use their offices to promote a godless agenda.

OUR ONLY HOPE
In all of the tragedies that have afflicted America in recent years, the brightest moments have risen to the top because there was a Christian under-girding that became evident.

America (the whole world) is not in need of education, economics, environmentalism; IT IS IN NEED OF EVANGELISM. The world needs Jesus, both for the world that now is, and that which is to come.
1 Timothy 4:8
(8) ...but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
