WHY I WARN

WHY I WARN
(Maybe this will help explain why some people think I am obnoxiously religious).

Warnings we better not miss.
BRIDGE IS OUT.
FLASHING LIGHTS AND CLANGING BELL, at railroad crossing.
NO SMOKING sign in fireworks store.
HALT, OR I'LL SHOOT.
FASTEN SEAT BELT sign, when your plane hits turbulence.
ONE WAY, when entering major thoroughfare.

There are lots of other warnings.
Tragedy can strike when:
Someone does not raise a warning.
When a person does not heed a warning.
When a person removes or hides a warning.

Bible believers are not the bad guys when they warn people about the danger of sin. It may be more fun or easier to jump into an activity that looks inviting, but it is better to read the warnings first. This is especially true concerning LIFE. Whether we like it or not, there are dangers in life.

* The Bible warns us about those dangers.
* Christians share those warnings because they love people.
* Some people ignore the warnings and the Christians who share them.
* Some people get angry with Christians for warning them.
* Some people redefine or explain away the warnings.
