THIS AIN'T ABOUT ISLAM, SO READ ON
I have had people say that if I had been brought up as a Muslim, I would be committed to that religion, just like I am committed to Christ. Of course, one of the problems with that position is, I was not brought up to be a Christian. My parents were not Christians, and I had nearly no interaction with, or knowledge of Christians. Yet, I became a convinced believer in Christ.

"Well then," folks may argue, "since you were born and raised in the USA, you became a Christian." The problem is that a very minuscule proportion of American society becomes Christian. Oh, I could have become a nominal Christian, if I followed the religious crowd, but I did not become a nominal Christian. I became a born again, Bible believing, Christ follower, which is very different from the direction that American society is going.

Yes, it is likely that I would have followed the false religion of Islam if I had been born in an Islamic society and born to a Muslim family. But don't forget, great numbers of Muslims have abandoned the Islamic religion and turned to Christ as their Savior, even though it meant loss of everything, including family and even the loss of life.

But most Americans are not Muslim, and they are not likely to become Muslim. SO WHAT ARE THEY, AND WHY?

Americans are spread across the philosophical terrain. They are Secularists, Humanists, Evolutionists, Materialists, Religionists of every kind. The labels are different, but the viewpoints are alike, in the sense that they all reject Biblical Christianity in favor of some religious, political, philosophical worldview.

NOW HERE IS THE POINT.

Just as Muslims in Islamic nations, and Jews in Israel, and Hindus in India must deliberately choose to reject their heritage in order to become Christians, to become loyal followers of Christ, so must Americans and Europeans deliberately choose to denounce the false god's of religion, politics, academics, economics, culture and heritage in order to become true Christians. Westerners think they can be Christian, while clinging to the beliefs that are diametrically opposed to Biblical faith. THEY CANNOT.

You cannot have two gods.You cannot worship God and mammon (riches) at the same time. You cannot pledge allegiance to any person or party, other than Christ. Jesus will either be Lord of all, or He will not be Lord at all.

There is no other Savior, besides Jesus. Socialism, and every other ism is the enemy of the cross. If you intend to please God, you must turn from trusting the prevailing winds of human endeavor. You must become totally committed to the faith that is found in the New Testament.

Sadly, I don't believe America will come to a right relationship with God. But I do believe individuals can come to their senses. It will be costly for anyone who chooses to follow Christ, just like it is costly for converted Muslims, Hindus, Buddhist, atheists, Catholics to turn from their empty religions to the living God of the Bible.

As long as people are trusting and believing political parties to save them, there will be nothing but futility, fragmentation and failure in society, with no hope for the future. However, in Christ, there is hope.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18
(14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
(15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
(16) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
(18) And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

MODERNIZED, WESTERNIZED, LIBERALIZED CHRISTIANITY IS NO MORE REDEMPTIVE THAN ISLAM.
You can disagree (to your own detriment) with the God of the Bible concerning homosexuality, murdering the pre-born and newborn, and hating Israel, but you cannot be a Christian and disagree with God and His revelation. Americans and Europeans need to reject and abandon "Non-Christian Christianity" as certainly as Muslims need to reject and abandon Islam.

WESTERN POLITICAL MOVEMENTS AND AGENDAS ARE THE NEW IDOLS AND FALSE GODS OF THE MODERN AGE.
Total commitment to political parties and platforms and national entities is the new Babylon, and people need to turn to Christ rather than the saviors from the political pool.
