DANGER WILL ROBINSON!

DANGER WILL ROBINSON!
STOP! LOOK! LISTEN!

Before you unnecessarily hurt someone, over an unimportant or nonessential point of view, which really does more damage in eternity than it does good in the present moment, DON'T!

Before you flip out at the latest stupid statement someone makes, and then add to the chaos by spewing your own idiocy by ranting and name calling, DON'T!

People need to grow up, get a deeper spiritual understanding and DO THE RIGHT THING, DO THE CHRISTLIKE THING. It is not worth destroying other people just because you think your view of the trivial is of eternal import. Even if you are right about the issue, YOU ARE WRONG.

Yes, you can always blame the other person for being too vocal or overreacting, but that is not the point. The point is, doing what Jesus would do. He would not be opinionated about divisive issues that don't really matter, and He does not want us to destroy others over temporal things either.

I have seen families destroyed because someone was determined to have his or her own way.

It does not matter how much maturity you think you have attained, if you do these things (which proves that you are not mature), then the problem is that you are not acting in purity. Love is the determining factor. The real issue is not, "who is right or wrong," or even if you have, "the right to say what you want to say." None of us have the right to destroy someone for whom Christ died, even for food, much less for foolishness. (see passage at end of post)

Repentance and humility are essential to reconciliation. If it ain't worth it, in order to reconcile with the person you have offended, then it won't be worth it for you to be reconciled with the One you have offended, either.

Act on it now, or you could end up with eternity to think about it.

Romans 14:13-21
(13) Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
(14) I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
(15) But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
(16) Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
(17) For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
(18) For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
(19) Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
(20) For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
(21) It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
