TWO PROBLEMS

TWO PROBLEMS
I know, this is crazy, but it is true. (actually, there are two significant issues here).

#1 There are people who believe that God has ordained, planned, decreed everything that happens. It is not simply that He allows free will wickedness in man to follow its own course, but rather, sinning religion believes God controls, ordains every single thing (supposedly because His will is the only active will in the universe), and not only allows, but determines, predetermines everything that happens.

They believe God deliberately chooses not to offer salvation to the major portion of humanity, and therefore the supposed "non-elect" are condemned to eternal torment without the possibility of salvation, from before the time they were born.

They believe that God even ordains, plans, decrees the vilest acts of filth, since they believe everything is according to God's will. According to Calvin, when God, "permits" something, God is actually causing it to happen, He actuates it.

I know, I know. This is crazy, because God is not the author of sin, He is not willing that any should sin, or perish.

#2 If, as sinning religion says, God actually actuates everything, and according to them He unilaterally does not actuate salvation for some people, therefore they cannot be saved, but He does actuate salvation for some, then why doesn't He ever actuate deliverance from all sin?

So, why come (southern idiom, asking for explanation) God does not actuate purity of heart and power over all sin, and resistance to all temptation, and conformity to the purity of Christ, and perfect love, and obedience to the will and law of God... just for openers?

From this we see that the god of sinning religion is more committed to, and more fond of sin than holiness and righteousness. If we look at all the sin in the world, of the vilest and most horrific kind, then we have to understand the god of sinning religion to prefer perversion over conversion. From this we have to understand the god of sinning religion does not want his children to be holy, to live righteously. If the world is the result of what the god of sinning religion actuates, then that god is a monster and a pervert.

CONSIDER THIS

God does not actuate sin, but since He has given man the power of choice and self determination, and since He empowers and enables free will concerning a right relationship with God, then He allows men to sin, even in the most horrific ways, which determines their eternal destinies and their eternal judgment. With great power (free will) comes great responsibility and great accountability. Those who refuse God's grace to use their free will to obey and please God have chosen to refuse the gift of God.
