I AM SECURE IN HIM

(I was thinking about the confidence I have in Jesus this morning, so I wrote this. (I hear it as a rap)).

I slumbered last night,

Without any fright,
For even if I died,

I had been justified.

I woke without fear,

I knew God was here,
To teach, and help and guide,

With His power inside.

I don't have to sin;

His Spirit's within.
I'm choosing to abide,

Since I've been sanctified.

Even if I fall,

On God I can call.
If by faith I confide,

I will not be denied.

Not my pow'r or might,

Can make my soul right,
It's the grace He supplied,

That bridged the great divide.

Due to His love,

Sent from up above,
He keeps His loving Bride,

Secure and purified.

Explanation
There are those who believe that you cannot be secure or confident if you are not OSAS (once saved, always saved). The absurdity is, you cannot be Biblically secure or confident unless your faith is living, working and current.

Confidence in a sinning religion is a false hope. It is the first lie that Satan told Eve. Satan said sin would not kill. God says sin kills. God says Jesus saves His people from their sins.

I believe God.
