THIS REALLY IS IMPORTANT

THIS REALLY IS IMPORTANT, BECAUSE IT IS THE BAD NEWS FOR THOSE WHO WILL NOT RECEIVE THE GOOD NEWS.

BE CAREFUL
A lot of people are making a big mistake by thinking that the God of Christianity is a pacifist.

THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS ARE TRUE
He is the Prince of Peace.
He is Lord of Love.
He is the Lamb that takes away the sin of the world.
He was as a sheep led to the slaughter.
He was as a lamb that was quiet before His shearers.

THIS IS ALSO TRUE
Christians are instructed and enabled by God not to be violent against other men.
Christians are instructed and enabled by God to love our enemies.
Christians are instructed and enabled by God to do good to those who do us wrong.
Christians are instructed and enabled by God to give their lives in service to God.
Christians do no harm to other people, including their persecutors.
Christians will be persecuted, to death, because of their faith in Jesus Christ.

(ALSO TRUE... God has appointed the State, the government, to wield the sword of steel in order to punish the wicked and protect the righteous, which it has failed to do.)

HOWEVER (and this is a BIG however), THIS TOO IS TRUE
God will not allow the injustice and the persecution and the violence and the abominations of this world to continue.
Jesus is coming back.
But He is not coming back as Savior, because He already did that.
He is coming back as Judge, because He said He would do that.
He is coming back to reign as King, as He has always planned.
He will wage war against His enemies and then He will cast them into eternal torment for having resisted His sovereign authority.

KINGDOMS IN CONTRAST
Worldly (demonic) religions, and errant States wield the sword and shed the blood of Christians to promote their false gods.
Christians wield the Sword of the Spirit (the Holy Bible) and willingly spill their own blood in order to bring sinners to repentance.

The religions and governments of this world kill and maim and oppress and butcher and violate anyone who resists their claim to rule.
The true people of God (Christians) do not attack or oppress the people of this world or try to force them into submission to Christ.

Whereas the servants of Satan use their power to promote the prince of darkness, God does not use His peacemakers to strike His enemies violently.
Instead, God will come back and slay His enemies with the sword of His mouth. God will attack, because God is a jealous and vengeful God.

PLEASE READ THESE PASSAGES (and take the time to meditate and listen for the voice of God).

Matthew 5:9-12
(9) Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
(10) Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
(11) Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
(12) Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

John 18:36
(36) Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Romans 12:17-21
(17) Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
(18) If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
(19) Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
(20) Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
(21) Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-10

(7) And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
(8) In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
(9) Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
(10) When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

Hebrews 10:28-31
(28) He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
(29) Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
(30) For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
(31) It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-12
(3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
(4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
(5) Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
(6) And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
(7) For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
(8) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
(9) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
(10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
(11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
(12) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2 Peter 3:7-14
(7) But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
(8) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
(9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
(10) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
(11) Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
(12) Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
(13) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
(14) Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
