(6) Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

A GOOD START is important. If your aim (gun, bow and arrow, compass) is off just a very little bit, you could miss your target by a great margin. This is also true concerning a NEW START. Though we did not KEEP THE FAITH during the earlier part of our lives, we can realign ourselves with God and FINISH THE COURSE.

How sad to have already traveled the path of SELF and SIN, which led us to loss and spiritual bankruptcy, and then reject the way of Christ when it is offered to us again, later in life.

So, if you are young, set your course by the Bright and Morning Star, make holiness of heart and life your path of life, fix your eyes upon Jesus and eternal life. If you have wasted years in "vanity and pride," redeem the days you have left by following Him fully.

Your only regret will be that you did not trust, love and follow Him sooner.
