SEXIST AND RACIST CONFUSION

SEXIST AND RACIST CONFUSION
"I am sorry you are not happy with who and what you are. I am sorry that you have allowed the prejudice and anger of other people make you doubt your own dignity. I am sorry you have such a poor self image that you have to 'see yourself' as someone you are not, or something you are not."

This is what comes to my mind when I think of females who want to be men, or want to be like men, or want to be equal to men, or want to be better than men, as if being a man is better than being a woman. This street goes both ways, by the way, as seen in Bruce Jenner. But it does not always include a gender change. The so-called "feminist movement" is based on this identity confusion.

(pssst, c'me here... genders and races are already equal. it is the misconceptions and sinful actions of people that lead us to think otherwise. but don't get confused, equal does not mean "same." it is normal for that which is normally different, to be different.)

Yes, there is gender discrimination, and racial discrimination and other forms of discrimination. However, the solution to discrimination is not for all people to be the same gender or to be transgender, or to be one race or to be multi-racial. The problem is not gender or racial, it is attitudinal. The bigots and bullies do not demean others because they are superior, but because they either mistakenly think they are superior or because they are trying to convince other people that they are superior. This is a sin problem, not a gender or racial problem.

If anyone thinks he/she can force everyone else into a right attitude, or change societal problems by changing the natural and normal scheme of life (gender reality and racial reality), or improve this world by exalting one group above another group, THEY ARE WRONG. Justice and peace are not the results of force or fallacy. Yes, laws can be enacted to protect justice and promote peace, but the actual solution is a spiritual birth and obedience to the Holy Spirit, which will not happen to all of society in this present evil world.

However, Christians call on God to accomplish His will in their lives, in the midst of trouble and trial. Remember, "Thy will be done..." is our prayer. So, regardless of what others do or think, we must be true to the God Who created us and gave Himself for us. We cannot change society, and we cannot really change our gender or our race. We can surrender to Christ, and He will enable us to be the best "us" we can be, in spite of the opposition and confusion in society.

It is not simply "alright" for you to be who and what you are, it is ALL RIGHT for you to be who and what you are. Don't be ashamed of your gender or your race, and don't be arrogant in your gender or racial identity.

Easy? Not by a long shot. But, "easy" is not always right and "right" is not always easy.
