MEANINGFUL MEMORIALS
I got an FB notification concerning a friend's birthday. We don't communicate anymore and I know we will never get together for a little catch-up visit. In fact, my friend passed away some time ago, but no one ever removed his FB account, and i just kept the contact (as a reminder). He would have done the same for me. We thought alike.

My friend, who was relatively young at the time, suffered from various problems during his last years, but he kept a bright outlook anyway.

I like to be reminded of him,
of his talent,
his humor,
his friendship and
his love of Jesus.
I like to think of my friend being at peace in heaven.

I like to be reminded that life is really short for some people.
I like to be reminded that life can be cut short for all of us.
I like to be reminded to love others while they are still with us.

I hope you think kindly of me if I go before the rapture. I hope I live in such a way that you have reason to believe that I kept the faith and finished the course.

In fact, it is a good idea that we all live with eternity in mind.
