FOLLOW HIM, HE NEVER FAILS

FOLLOW HIM, HE NEVER FAILS
Another week is almost history. We have said, "Where He leads me I will follow."

Did you follow Him into the solitude of prayer and meditation?
Did you follow Him by seeking those who are lost?
Did you follow Him by speaking words of truth in the spirit of love?
Did you follow Him when He led you not into temptation?
Did you follow Him into the battle, knowing that you are more than a conqueror?
Did you follow Him into the Garden of Surrender?
Did you follow Him through betrayal, loss and suffering?
Did you follow Him to the cross and the tomb and the Garden of Resurrection Victory?
Did you follow Him in planting the seed of His word?
Did you follow Him by carrying someone else's burden?
Did you follow Him in self denial?
Did you follow Him in loving your enemy?
Did you follow Him by "going about, doing good."
Did you follow Him by releasing the power of God to someone else?
Did you follow Him by using whatever He gave you, to serve other people?

This week is almost gone. It will never come back. I cannot recover what I have lost, but I can make certain that I follow Him from this moment on. He does not always lead through fields of fun and fairness; sometimes He leads through the valley of death.

But always remember, He did not create the chaos, the confusion, the catastrophe. In fact, many times His heart was broken, but He is here to comfort us in our time of need. He gives us more than pious platitudes. He gives us hope, peace, love, forgiveness, renewal, comfort.

Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow.
I'll go with Him, with Him, all the way.

He will give me grace and glory,
He will give me grace and glory,
He will give me grace and glory,
And go with me, with me, all the way.

Isaiah 41:10
(10) Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
