If your going to lose a relationship with someone, make sure the issue is more important than the relationship you lose. It is possible to have differing views in life, but you should not condemn others for disagreeing with you over lesser issues. Even the major issues do not give us the right to offend others. Love covers a multitude of sins, it should at least bridge the gap of disagreements. You don't have to force your "wisdom" down someone else's throat and you should not humiliate them for not agreeing with your viewpoint.
