This Church Sign Is So Controversial, People are FUMING!

REPORT
A sign outside of a Virginia church has created such a stir that some people are doing U-turns just to to re-read it. And it’s causing a bit of outrage.

It reads: “Remember, Satan was the first to demand equal rights.”

The message, which appeared on Sunday outside Taylor Road Baptist Church in Chesapeake, Virginia, has some people so stunned that they are doing a double take as they pass it.

One angry local told WTVR-TV, “When I drove by it, I wasn’t sure I read it right. So I did a U-turn,.” She also added that she was upset after she saw the sign, which is outside the Taylor Road Baptist Church in Chesapeake, VA.

While many residents are unsure whether the message pertains to gay rights, women or some other related issue, Pastor Mel Kunkle, said that the sign isn’t targeted at a specific group.

Kunkle said that the marquee is referencing Satan’s attempt to be equal with God, something with which anyone who has read the bible should be familiar.

While the pastor said the sign is intended to make people think, liberals are, as expected, outraged, questioning what message it is sending to youths who might pass by it.

I think the sign is spot on. This is America, where our Constitution guarantees that “all men are created equal.” In fact, many special groups have extra protections provided to ensure equality in virtually every aspect of life. Yet leftists always press on with their agenda for more special provisions for their purportedly mistreated groups.

Beware The False Narrative
I don't know the pastor or the people in his church, therefore i cannot tell you anything other than what the report said.

The sign is a good sign. The message is a good message. The pastor's statement was valid. Any problem with this story stems from other people's erroneous accusations. The people who criticize it (for the most part) either do not believe the Bible or they do not understand what the passage says, or what the pastor said. It is more of that, "tear down what we don't like," mentality that has been running around lately. It is also an excuse for Bible haters to raise a false narrative against the Bible and Christians.

In fact, the passage denounces the anarchist mentality that is strong in our society today. Also remember it is addressing the spiritual cancer of pride, anger, and violence.

Those who are not interested in the truth about this passage and the message it offers us today are more interested in attacking the Bible and Christ followers than listening to reason and learning truth.

Again, i do not know the pastor or church, but this message has always been part of the Church. (Actually, the rejection of this message is more in line with Marxist, Socialistic, Liberation Theology).
