A TERRIBLE WAR IN OUR MIDST
Every week a terrible war is waged, in our midst, and most people do not even realize it.
It is a secret war.
It is an invisible war.
It is an international war.
It is a religious war.
It is a spiritual war that takes place in Bible preaching churches whenever truth is proclaimed.

The war rages...
While the congregation sings about the love of God.
While someone leads in prayer.
While the preacher explains faith, repentance, confession, surrender and calls people to follow Jesus.

The two sides are...
God and Satan.
Light and darkness.
Faith and disobedience.
Surrender and rebellion.
Truth and deceit.

As Bible truth is being lifted up in preaching, testimony, song, prayer...
Satan is attacking the hearts of the people.
He is stirring them to ridicule, resist and reject the messenger and the message.
He is twisting the message.
He is building walls of separation.
He is tearing down lines of communication.
He is misrepresenting the reality of Divine and miraculous intervention.

Deliverance, victory, godliness, love and transforming grace are offered during the service, but Satan is robbing, attacking, diverting, obscuring the people and the message of God.

Miraculous changes would take place, but people suffer defeat because they grab hold of Satan's lies rather than God's truths.
Spiritual greatness is lost because people allow themselves to be taken captive by Satan, as they sit in the pews.
Personal growth and attainment are lost, family success is lost, ministry impact is diminished, community redemption never happens because people choose to close their hearts, minds and lives to the salvation of God, either for fear of what they will lose or for desire of what they will gain, by continuing as they are, rather than experiencing the power of God to set them free and use them in His service.

This same war does not take place in liberal churches, because there is no message of deliverance through the shed blood and resurrected body of Christ and there is no Holy Spirit empowering, Holy Spirit leading, Holy Spirit fruitfulness, Holy Spirit gifts and there is no authoritative revelation offered from the Holy Bible as the word of God. The people who sit under liberal preaching are already prisoners of war, or victims of brainwashing.

People need to place themselves in a place to hear the word of God, because faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes by the word of God. this is important because without faith it is impossible to please God. Then the people need to heed what they hear, because faith without works is dead.

BE A VICTOR, NOT A VICTIM.
