A WINNING ATTITUDE

A WINNING ATTITUDE
Usually (almost always), when there is no real chance of winning a game, when the game itself is not that important, I still try to give it the best effort I can, because IT IS ABOUT HOW YOU PLAY, NOT ALWAYS ABOUT WINNING, that counts. In service to God, it really is about giving our all, regardless of how it shows up on the world's leader board. With God, living by faith is winning.

Sometimes people do not give life their best effort, or they blame everyone and everything else for their failures. As a result, it is almost impossible to get them to really give their best effort later in life. Usually if you don't play to win, you won't win. If you settle for losing, you will lose. If you want to blame someone else, it is usually easy to find a goat.

Any victory you win, you can thank God, because He is the One in you that gives you the victory.
Romans 8:37
(37) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

1 Corinthians 15:57-58
(57) But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
(58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

2 Corinthians 2:14
(14) Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
(9) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
(10) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

1 John 4:4
(4) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1 John 5:4
(4) For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
