"PLAY" YOUR BEST

"PLAY" YOUR BEST
(this is really a very important post)

If you are chosen to play on a team, you need to bring your best game. Someone chose you, for a reason. They did not choose someone else instead. (okay, sometimes there is no one left to choose). But for whatever reason they chose you, and you should do your best to fill that position.

This is true in sports.
This is true in business.
This is true in entertainment.
This is true in churchman-ship.
This is true in marriage.

Sometimes people slack off because:
They figure they cannot or will not be replaced.
They figure they are on a losing team.
They lose interest in the "game."
They lose camaraderie.

When this happens, they are headed for a losing season (or life).

The more important that the "game" is, the more essential the commitment is.
