IT MATTERS WHO IS IN CHARGE

I am spoiled as an American Christian. I was privileged to be born and raised in a country that allowed people to believe differently, without State or religious persecution. This is because America was more closely aligned with New Testament teaching concerning personal freedoms and responsibilities than any other country in the world.

Less Favorable
However, the more the citizens and the government moved away from Biblical principles of morality and values, and the more that social sins have been allowed to go unchecked, the less favorable our nation has become to freedom and Christian values.

Penalty To Suit The Crime
Even so, as an American Christian I would not vote the death penalty for those who choose not to be Christian, or for those who choose to break many of the laws of our land. I personally have a problem with the death penalty (primarily because I don't trust the system to tell all of the pertinent information in a case, and I don't trust the people who run the courts), but still, I would not vote the death penalty out in the most egregious of crimes.

No Mind Police, No Religious Police
Though I would want a nation that observes the basic laws of order and decency, I would not be in favor of executing people for their beliefs. Nor would I make a label a person a criminal just because they did not believe what I believe or worship God the way I worship Him. Punishment should be given to those who violate the moral laws that are in keeping with Christian revelation and values.

Not Reciprocal

With that said, I find I am surrounded by a new breed of anti-Bible and anti-Christian American neighbors who will readily oppress, penalize, imprison and execute people for following New Testament revelation. Many of these Statists see Christian principles, and those who follow them, as being enemies of the State, therefore the enemies of their god.

Unholy Flip Flop

Whereas it use to be the law of the land that a Christian could live by his/her convictions, the new laws of the land make Bible believers and Christ followers into criminals.

"Liberal" Means Intolerant

This has been the work of "liberal" theology, which is the bedrock of "liberal" politics and "liberal" thinking. My friends now call for my head and they will gladly deny my grandchildren the right to learn and follow the Christian faith, which gave birth and meaning and significance to the USA.

Inches To Miles
They are not satisfied in murdering the innocents, they want Christians to pay for it and celebrate and endorse it. They are not satisfied to join same gender people in a perverted relationship, they want Christians to celebrate and serve and endorse such aberrant behavior. Our nation has not just become less Christian, it has become more Christ hating.

Repent And Turn
If you have been caught in the liberal web of deception then you can be set free by calling on Jesus Christ and turn to the Holy Bible as the revealed word of God.
