We all have friends who think that sin is NOT that big of a deal (unless someone is sinning against them, of course).
BUT...
God's view is, and always has been that our sins separate us from God, for eternity.
God's view is, and always has been that the wages of sin is death.
God's view is, and always has been that every sin, individually, separates us from God.
God's view is, and always has been that He does not want us to be separated from Himself.
God's view is, and always has been that He would provide a sacrifice, to facilitate our reconciliation.
God's view is, and always has been that those who accept His provision, through obedient faith in the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ, would receive reconciliation, forgiveness, cleansing, newness of life and eternal life.
YET, people continue live life...
As if there is no God.
As if they will not be required to stand before God and give account for their choices in life.
As if they have not sinned, or as if their sin does not matter to God.
As if they have a free pass into heaven, or a free "get out of hell" card, in spite of the fact that they live their lives in opposition to God and rejection of His revelation.
OUR CHOICE
What great love that God gave His Son to save us from our sins, if we receive Christ as our Lord and Savior.
What great arrogance if we think we don't need to trust and yield to Him.
