ALL PRE-BORN BABIES HAVE BEEN SAVED BY GRACE.
ALL PEOPLE HAVE FALLEN FROM GRACE.
ALL PEOPLE NEED TO BE SAVED BY GRACE.
This is a short repeat of something I have said before, but it keeps coming up in discussion on the internet and in real life, so it does not hurt to be reminded of truth again.
* Adam's sin not only separated himself from God, but he also brought sin into the world and the human family, and he also passed the sinful nature (as well as the human nature) to every child born to a man and woman.
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, which means that Jesus received His human nature from Mary, but did not receive the Adamic or sinful nature of Adam, since that is transmitted through the human father.
* All children are shaped in iniquity and in sin they are conceived. This simply means that all children are conceived through the union of a human father and mother, thus transmitting the sinful nature of Adam, and they are formed from conception with that sinful nature as part of their fallen condition.
* Sinful nature is a sin corruption and disqualifies a person from heaven, since no sin will enter heaven. God, in His mercy and grace has provided for all pre-born, and new born and infant children to have their inherited corruption covered by the atoning blood of Christ. Though these children are not responsible for their inherited corruption, the corruption is real and it disqualifies them from heaven.
Since all children are covered by the atoning work of Christ, the Bible says that Jesus is "THE SAVIOR OF ALL MEN" The Bible does not say, "provisionally" or "potentially." It says He "is the Savior of all men." No child will be kept out of heaven because of the sins of his father, including the sins of Adam, or because of the inherited sinful nature.
* All children who survive to the age of accountability before God (whatever age that may be), will sin. We all become answerable for our own sins, and our sins separate us from God. "The wages of sin is death." At that point the child will be in need of, and will be given the opportunity to seek the forgiveness and cleansing of God. If they call on Jesus, through faith, they will be saved. Therefore the Bible says that Jesus is "the Savior of all men, ESPECIALLY OF THOSE THAT BELIEVE." Forgiveness is received when we have believed.
NOW, THIS IS INTERESTING
* Due to the atoning work of Christ on the cross, all men (as pre-born children) have been saved from eternal separation from God, by the grace of God. Those same children, who live to the age of accountability will sin willfully and become children of disobedience, and will no longer be under the saving grace of God.
THEREFORE, everyone has been saved by grace, and all of us have fallen from grace, and stand in need of the grace of God to save us from eternity without God. So much for the false doctrine of Once Save, Always Saved.
