SATAN IS A THIEF

SATAN IS A THIEF
"God gave more than faith appropriated;" speaking about Israel entering the Promised Land. (Pierson, Keys To The Word).

This is true for Christians who do not "go on to perfection" (He. 6:1); even the Christians who enter the fullness of the Spirit, do not always go on to possess all that awaits them in the land of promise, "we have not because we ask not," (Ja. 4:2).

Sometimes people don't receive what God offers them because they refuse it for sinful reasons, but sometimes they are robbed of the opportunity to choose because they follow pastors/teachers who do not tell them the truth about full salvation.

They are led out of the bondage of Egypt (sin), but never enter into the Promised Land, flowing with milk and honey (heart purity).

In fact, Satan does not care if you cross the Red Sea, as long as you don't cross the Jordan.

Refusal to enter into the Spirit purified, empowered and controlled life will end badly.

If your pastor/teacher is not leading you into victory over sinful actions and sin nature, you need to stop following that false prophet, and you need to find a shepherd and church that preaches the whole counsel of God.

IF
If we were watching a movie about the Exodus of Israel from Egypt, but the story line only took them out of Egypt, into the wilderness, with the leader having no intention of leading them into the Promised Land, we would know that the movie was bogus.

If someone is sent to rescue people from oppression, with the directive to return the captives to their home, and wealth, and freedom, but the "rescuer" leads them away from one oppressor, only to lead them into the clutches of another oppressor, thus robbing them of their rightful possession, we would have no problem labeling that fraudulent rescuer as a cheat and deceiver.

If we know that our pastor/teacher does not preach and lead people into full deliverance from sin and into the life of holiness of heart and life, yet we continue to go and we invite other people to sit under such misleading, then we are partially responsible for those people not hearing about victorious Christian living. In fact we are partially responsible for bringing them into a situation where the gospel is changed and people are poisoned against the truth of God.
