BEWARE OF "EXPERTS"
Don't be caught in the error that says fallen angels cohabited with women (Genesis 5:1-7). I am not getting into explaining this passage at this point. I simply want to warn people not to be led astray by fancy words and titles. Just read the passage and stay with the word of God.
It is not unusual to hear that some of Christendom's most popular spokesmen have bought into the fable of demon and human cohabitation. This fabled misrepresentation of God's record goes back to human attempts among some ancient Jews to explain this passage. Fancy footwork and twisting of Scripture asserts that the son's of God were angels, primarily because the title, "son's of God" is applied to angels in Job 1. On that misrepresentation the other errors are built, referring to the "Nephilim" or "giants" as the offspring of humans and angels/demons. Also a reference to God's judgement in the New Testament is given as supposed proof that the "son's of God" were either angels or fallen angels/demons. However, the entire passage and the context of the passage and other portions of Scripture support the simple, straightforward reality that the "son's of God" were the godly men who took to themselves, "whomever they chose" of the godly women and the ungodly women, or the "daughters of men." This mixing of godliness with ungodliness results in great ungodliness. This is a main theme in the Bible, whereas spirit creatures having sex with humans is not a Biblical theme.
YES, I AM AWARE
I am not unaware of the pagan teaching about the sexual violation of humans that supposedly comes from incubus and succubus. Whatever spiritual, emotional, deceptive connections there may be in this area, we should not base our beliefs on pagan documents or occult explanations.
DON'T INVITE A CAMEL
When you crack the door of your mind to false prophets, you may find that it is too late to close the door once the camel's head is in the tent. We don't need experts to explain Biblical truth by teaching pagan beliefs.
