THE FASTER I GO, THE BEHINDER I GET
Europe is still "ahead" of the USA, but we are "catching up" quickly. Theologically, philosophically, politically, socially, morally, and spiritually, Europe has led the way in rejecting Biblical Christianity and into liberalism, modernism, skepticism and socialism. This is important because our world view, our God view, determines our behavior.

Years ago, I remember reading that America was over 50 years behind Europe, but as time has gone by, the gap has been closed to 50 years and now 30 years. This means that in 30 years America will be like Europe (especially the UK) is today, concerning economics, Islam, antisemitism, homosexuality, Statism, secular humanism, morality. Actually, the Obama factor has accelerated that schedule. With the strong handed leadership and the slavish mentality of our society, we will "catch up" very soon. Just look how quickly things have changed since the 1980's and especially in the last 10 years.

BAD "SIDE EFFECTS"
"Slavish mentality" and "moral disintegration" along with the loss of honest and sound self awareness is the result of rejecting the authority and relevance of the Bible. The narcotic effect of liberalism dulls the soul and deadens the conscience to God. Once this happens, self determination is lost and people become subservient to whatever prevailing oppression is present.

BE SURE TO BEWARE
I use to hope that Europe would turn and follow the lead of the USA in being Christocentric and Bible based, but that is not the way deterioration works, and it is not the prophetic message of the Bible.

CHOOSE YOUR OWN COURSE
Question... So, what shall we do?
Answer... Seek God with all of our heart and surrender our entire self to Jesus. Don't wait for social acceptance and don't wait for governmental approval, 'cause it ain't coming.

There are some totally dedicated Christians in Europe, who have renounced worldliness, but they are few in number. Likewise there are few in the USA today, and there will be fewer "tomorrow." Be one of the "remnant" and let your light so shine before men that they shall see your good works and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.
