I have observed through the years that children who come to Christ early in life are eager to please God and tend to develop spiritual awareness and desire.

THE SOONER THE BETTER

Remember, God wants all children to become children of faith at a very early age. The sooner, the better. It will save them from practicing the more devastating sins, and it will save them from developing an addiction to sin, and it will save them from being deeply scarred by sin. The sooner a twig is saved from an unnatural bend, the sooner it will grow correctly. The sooner that children start to develop as the should, the stronger and longer they will live for Christ.

PARENTAL ASSIGNMENT

The way for parents to provide God's best to their children is to lead the way by making their own faithful and total commitment to Christ every day. Parents should not withhold anything from God, ANYTHING. It is vital for parents to provide a spiritual environment if they want their children to grow in grace and reach their full potential in Christ. It is essential that parents provide Christ centered home life, education, socialization, recreation, associations, habits, pastimes, and opportunities to see and experience a life of faith and grace. To allow something in your life that is not pleasing to God is to mislead your children. You may be raising a choice vessel. Handle with great care.

Each child will determine his own response to the call of God, but a careless or lackadaisical upbringing robs even the most sensitive child of his God given advantages. Children are an heritage from the Lord, they are to be protected. We must provide every advantage for them to become all that God wants them to become.

Do not rob God of His beneficence.
