Seriously, Jesus is coming back. Do you ever think about this?
But before He does, the Bible says things will get worse and worse, though they will seem to get better for a short time, under the leadership of a very charismatic and powerful world leader. That short respite from world problems will draw people into the depths of his trap, from which there will be no escape. He will appear as almost a savior to a chaotic world. But then things will go from bad to worse than they have ever been in the history of the world, according to the Bible. It could start any time now.
But I won't be here when it happens. Jesus will catch away His Bride in the Rapture. You don't have to be here either. But it will mean abandoning a life that is sinking in sin and getting on board the Ship of Salvation. You will need to trust fully in His death and resurrection, denouncing all false gods and false hopes this world has to offer, whether religious, governmental, economic, academic, philosophical.
If you don't think it can get worse, you need to read history and your newspaper, side by side.
If you don't think it will get worse, you should read prophecy (in the Holy Bible).
If you are not ready to go with Christ when He comes, you probably will not get ready after everything starts to go wrong in this world.
CONSIDER WHAT GOD SAYS
It is sad how few think about their eternal destiny; who treat their eternal soul so flippantly. The Bible calls that person a fool.
Luke 12:15-21
(15) And he (Jesus) said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness (greed): for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
(16) And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
(17) And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
(18) And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
(19) And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
(20) But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
(21) So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
