SIN IS INSIDIOUS

SIN IS INSIDIOUS

A sin that is allowed is a sin that will enshroud.

Insidious
Mirriam Webster Student Dictionary
Main Entry: in·sid·i·ous
Function: adjective
1 a : awaiting a chance to trap : TREACHEROUS <an insidious foe> b : harmful but attractive <an insidious habit>
2 : having an effect that develops gradually <an insidious disease>

(dlg again)
A PERSON HAS SIN UNTIL SIN HAS THAT PERSON
Sin Enters
Sin Ensnares
Sin Engulfs

Sin is never satisfied

* Neither Adam nor Eve intended to end up as victims or slaves to sin.
* Most people do not intend for their anger, deceit, greed, habits (alcohol, drugs, gambling, pornography), hatred, lust, secret and occasional vices, and trysts to take control of their lives.
* Murderers started with hateful thoughts.
* Rapists started with unrestrained lust.
* Thieves started with covetousness.
* Violence started with anger.

More repulsive sin begins with people we don't like, but eventually it includes those we love. Remember, "We have sin, until sin has us."

AND, no one ever thinks they will "go that far."

The answer to sin's saturation is not just a matter of self control, but spiritual cleansing, renewal through surrender to Jesus Christ.
