MEETING HARD TRIAL HEAD ON

THE BELIEVER'S RESPONSE TO TRIALS

It Is Not Always Easy
I know some of my friends have been going through great trials and have suffered terrible losses lately. Some of the rest of us may face similar trials in our tomorrows. Too many people crumble under the weight of heavy testing. Some testing is especially severe. Often times we must respond with some decision or action, and certainly within our own attitude.

Occasionally the problems require drastic responses from us. Though the problems are solvable, it can come at a great cost. However, the option to facing and meeting the demand is total disaster, complete loss. We very seldom encounter such dramatic difficulties. Sadly, some people are willing to settle for the long term losses because they are not willing to meet the immediate demands for deliverance.

God Is With You
As you come face to face with your trials, remember God's word;
James 1:2-4
(2) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
(3) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
(4) But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Romans 8:16-18
(16) The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
(17) And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
(18) For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

2 Corinthians 4:15-18
(15) For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
(16) For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
(17) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
(18) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
