HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015

SHARING MY JOURNEY WITH YOU

I hope the thoughts I share will help make this a very good year for you. I spend a lot of time working on my computer, studying, writing, researching and corresponding, therefore it is easy for me to record my thoughts and share them with other people. My thoughts are based on God's revelation in the Holy Bible, and the things I have learned as a follower of Christ for over 60 years, and as a preacher of the gospel for over 50 years and a pastor for over 46 years. I have taken seriously, the Biblical position of, "...warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:" It is for this reason that I share.

As I mention in the welcome message, at the top of this blog, "You will find, 'one liners,' and 'seed thoughts,' along with short articles and complete studies, addressing familiar and unfamiliar subjects." I realize that folks may not be interested in every form I use, but I hope you find something here that is a blessing. If I say something in an awkward way or my writing skills are sometimes lacking, I hope you will see beyond the unintentional to the intended purpose of seeking to serve you.

This blog is not a place for arguing with the things I say. If you feel compelled to confront me, send me an email. However, if it is for the purpose of arguing, and venting anger, I will not be interested. I will say things that are not popular, but that does not mean that those things are not true or important. Loving people, does not require us to love what they say or agree with what they believe. I try to live by the Biblical directive, "speaking the truth in love." Even when I don't agree with other people or their beliefs, I do love them.
