(33) Do not be led astray; bad companionships ruin good habits.
As we approach 2016, we need to lay aside that which is a hindrance and lay hold that which is a help.
Lay Aside...
Bad Companions
(they lead to other bad choices)
Bad Attitudes
(envy, pride, selfishness, deceit, anger, covetousness, lust)
Bad World View
(political, religious, economic, social, relational)
Bad Habits
(personal, relational, professional).
Lay Hold...
Good Companions
(they will sharpen you, support you, love you)
Good Attitudes
(love, joy, compassion, humility, courage, loyalty)
Good World View
(see everything through Biblical filter)
Good Habits
(always be improving your status and performance)
Right Relationships...
Right relationships with God and men are more than right choices, but they include right choices.
Right relationships include right emotions, (such as love, trust, humility, peace).
But right emotions are based on a redemptive relationship with God, not simply feelings.
